Fringe Festival Fancies

The Edinburgh Fringe festival, a cacophony of theatre, art, comedy, dance and music that descends on Edinburgh for the month of August is fast approaching!

If you are a tourist to our lovely little city during this time souvenirs are a must! Alternatively if you are a local trying to contend with the sudden influx of visitors, retail therapy may be the only way to keep yourself sane!
Here’s a short list we’ve compiled of some of the top festival-related treats to be found in the HZ shoppe this August.

‘Time For Adventure’ Iron-on Patch- Bel’s Art World

The best way to tackle the fringe is to be ready for anything and be open to all the sights and sounds it has to offer! Pop this patch on your jacket and get out there!

Trapeze Necklace –Swank

Show your support for the alternative circus, dance and music treats this fringe with this amazingly acrobatic necklace.

Flamingo Tattoos – Paperself

Get fully into the festival spirit! Adorn yourself with flora, fauna and flamingos!

Coping Admirably Sticker –Hand Over Your Fairy Cakes

A perfect treat for those brave souls and locals who are tackling the whole month of the fringe!

Busy Bee Organiser –Asking For Trouble

It’s the second week of the fringe and you’ve been recommended 30 great shows, 15 of which clash. You are going to need something to organise yourself!

‘Not Today’ Pin –Sparkle Collective

When the time finally comes that you can’t turn down one more leaflet on the royal mile, this pin says all you need to say.

Greyfriars Bobby Pin –Gemma Correll

It’s always important to have a souvenir of the fringe, and what better than our very own Greyfriars Bobby! Wear it home and recount stories of the amazing street performers you saw on the royal mile, the late night jazz you happened to wander into and the comedian you’ve been watching on the tele for years that you finally got to see!

We are open as always every day of the Fringe so pop in and say hi!

Enjoy the Festival everyone!
