A kawaii new book by Marceline Smith!
We got an extra special gift in the post this week – a copy of Marceline Smith’s brand new book! The Super Cute Book of Kawaii is a pastel hued extravaganza of all things adorable, and we’re so excited to share it with you.
“Kawaii” is a Japanese word which translates as “adorable”, often used to refer to a particular style of character design. If you’re a fan of Hello Kitty, Miffy or Pokémon then you know what I’m talking about! This delightful book introduces us to some of the most famous characters associated with this style, from Japan and elsewhere. It also takes a playful look into the world of super cute fashion, explores some of the cutest places to visit in Japan and shares some fun craft projects that will help you make your own Kawaii dreams come true!
Marceline’s love of Japanese design shines from every page of The Super Cute Book of Kawaii. Peppered with adorable characters and featuring gorgeous, colourful graphic design, the book lives up to its name! It even has an extra squishy cover, making it possibly the only huggable book on our shelf. You can pick up a signed copy of The Super Cute Book of Kawaii over on the Asking For Trouble website right now!
